terms of service
Blue Desert Pools is honored to serve you.
- Your service is backed with a “No Green Guarantee.” We take full responsibility for algae or cloudy water as long as all equipment (filters, pumps, & cleaning systems) is properly working and recommended repairs/filter cleans have been completed according to manufacturer's specs.
- Service is 12 consecutive months. Service may not be paused.
- $100 Pre-Authorization required - This allows us to get important repairs done quickly before they become larger, more expensive issues.
- The initial inspection, diagnostic, and calibration service is $199. This fee is waived at sign up. However, if the service is canceled, terminated, or violated prior to the agreed term (above), the $199 service amount must be paid in full.
- Plans are not eligible for refunds.
- Blue Desert Pools reserves the right to charge an 18% interest rate on balances 30 days past due.
- Blue Desert Pools shall not be liable for personal injury, equipment malfunction, or structural damage caused by nature, chemicals, or any other forms of abuse.
- In the event Blue Desert Pools is unable to properly care for the pool due to unapproved repairs/services, Blue Desert Pools may terminate service. The client is responsible for the cancellation.
- Storms - If rains or high winds arrive during time of service, we agree to complete the service to the best of our ability. Considering the situation of your service tech, only baskets will be emptied and chems balanced due to the high inefficiency and dangerous nature presented.
- All basic and general chemicals are included in our monthly service: shocks, tabs, muriatic and cyanuric acid, liquid chlorine, bromine, de and spa chems. Specialty chems needed, such as: phosphate remover, algaecides, salt, clarifier, etc. are not included.
- Every customer participates in our mineral treatment program each year, at a rate of $65-$95 per year. This program greatly reduces the need for high levels of harsh chemicals in your pool, kills potential algae, clarifies the water and dramatically reduces or completely eliminates any need for specialty chemicals. In saltwater pools, it will extend the life of your cell, saving you from expensive replacements.
- All cartridge and DE filters will be disassembled and cleaned every 3-6 months at a charge of $130, according to industry standards. Sand filters will need sand exchanges every 4-5 years, per industry standards. Pricing will vary. Backwashing and maintenance is included in your weekly service.
- Blue Desert Pools isn’t responsible for any equipment/parts failure or leaks that form from seals/orings as a result of old age, customer neglect, sun damage or anything that is out of our control.
- Air bnb properties require additional visits after guests check out to ensure the water is safe for new arrivals. Blue Desert Pools is not responsible for guests being sensitive to the water or chemicals.
- Blue Desert Pools reserves the right to take paid vacation 4 weeks out of the year. (Christmas, Thanksgiving, and 2 scheduled weeks)
- Pet Policy - Pets must be inside during service, in an effort to best protect our technicians and the pets.
- Pools/Spas are drained and refilled on a 1-2 year schedule.
